Butyl

Butyl reclaim is made form Scrap butyl tubes and bladders Butyl is a synthetic rubber known for its air tightness and chemical resistance properties. The process of making butyl reclaim rubber involves grinding and cleaning scrap butyl rubber products, and then chemically or mechanically breaking down the rubber into a reusable form.

Features :

  • Butyl reclaim rubber can be used in a variety of industrial and consumer applications, such as inner tubes, airtight seals, adhesive tapes, and electrical insulation.
  • It helps in reducing extrusion and calendering temperature during processing. It also helps in reducing die swell, air permeability and improve the flex fatigue property of the end product
